Chef Bob’s Great American Cook Off

Compete for Prizes and Personal Feedback from Chef Bob

With the current state of things, there’s been a surge in cooking and baking at home again. What a great time to showcase your skills (or your developing kitchen skills!). I’m holding a Cook Off Contest, just for fun, and small prizes, but mostly just for fun. 🙂

How’s It Work?

  1. Enter in as many classes/categories as you want, as many dishes as you like, up to five per class ($5/class + credit card processing fee).
  2. Whip up a dish for each of the classes entered and plate it.
  3. Photograph your entries, and upload your best picture of each dish and a copy of the recipe (it can be an informal recipe outline with just the ingredients and basic preparation steps – Chef just needs to get an idea of what’s going on in the picture) by the deadline.
  4. Sit back and relax while you wait for results to post!

It’s as easy as that! You’re likely cooking something these days anyway, so why not make it even more fun?! Chef Bob will provide tips, techniques and cooking advice with feedback.

Chef Bob’s Great American Cook Off Rules

  • It’s all for fun!
  • Anyone can enter, but only non-professional cooks and home chefs can win prizes.
  • Only paid entries are eligible for judging and prizes. You can enter multiple times in each class, up to 5 submissions per class.
  • Prizes are awarded solely at the discretion of Chef Bob.
  • A minimum of 5 entries in a class is required for prize distribution. Classes with less than 5 entries will still receive recognition, feedback, tips & cooking tricks for each submission.
  • One winner from each class will receive a $20 Amazon eGift card.
  • Each submission must include: 1 photo of the dish and 1 copy of the recipe or recipe outline (showing ingredients and general preparation information). Recipes will not be sold, shared or distributed and will be used solely for judging and feedback purposes by Chef Bob only.
  • Winning photos will be shared on Chef Bob’s website and/or social media.
  • Your exhibitor number is the last 4 digits of your Eventbrite ticket number.
  • Enter one exhibitor per registration. If registering for multiple family members, please start a new registration for each individual so each person has his or her own exhibitor number.
  • Please use your exhibitor number (last 4 digits of your Eventbrite ticket number) as your “first name” in the upload form. Leave last name blank, and use your email address (or a parent’s email address for kids and youth submissions).
  • Submit only your best submissions. Multiple submissions of the same dish will not be accepted. The submission with the earliest timestamp will be judged.
  • Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
