If you need some assistance adjusting to the time change, this delicious fall martini recipe should do just the trick! Make sure to use high quality pure vanilla, such as Mannix Vanilla. I also recommend a nutmeg grater–fresh ground nutmeg is much more rich and flavorful than ground nutmeg powder.

Prep Time
20 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1 Cup Water
- 2 tsp. Pumpkin Pie Spice
- 2 tsp. pure Vanilla
- 1 1/2 Cup Vanilla Vodka
- 3/4 Cup St. Germaine Liquor
- 2 Cans Orange Vanilla Seltzer
Garnish:
- Freshly Ground Nutmeg
- Whole Cinnamon Sticks
Instructions
- Combine sugar, water, spices and vanilla in a saucepan and bring just to a boil. Remove from heat, whisk & chill in an ice bath or refrigerate for 1 hour.
- In a large pitcher, combine the remaining ingredients (except garnish).
- Stir together.
- Chill martini glasses by filling with ice and water, set aside.
- In a martini shaker, fill 3/4 of the way with ice and pour cocktail into shaker.
- Shake at least 40 times, empty martini glasses and fill with shaken cocktail. Top with freshly ground nutmeg and garnish with cinnamon stick.
CBTip - I highly recommend a fresh nutmeg grinder. Williams Sonoma has one that I've used for over 15 years. Fresh nutmeg is no comparison to the store bought pre-ground powder, and it stays fresh as a whole nut indefinitely.
