Lombardi’s Seafood Hosts Exclusive Event: “From Fishin’ Line to Kitchen Line”
A 3-Course Interactive Fish Tale
Lombardi’s Seafood of Winter Park, Lombardi’s Executive Chef Chris, and Orlando Chef, Food Consultant & Event Manager, Bob Aungst, have teamed up to bring this summer’s most exciting popup event at Lombardi’s Cafe in Lombardi’s Seafood market (1888 W. Fairbanks Ave, Winter Park, FL 32789).
Lombardi’s Seafood is a central Florida tradition, offering high quality seafood for over 50 years. Everyone knows it’s the place to go for the best seafood. What people might not realize though, is that Lombardi’s offers a cafe with a delicious menu of local favorites. Lombardi’s Chef Chris oversees the cafe, putting his own spin on Lombardi’s family recipes.
Guests are invited to experience Lombardi’s Seafood in a whole new way on Saturday, July 1 from 1 to 3pm. Mike Lombardi, Chef Chris, and Chef Bob have crafted a three-course, interactive meal featuring local catches and Lombardi’s signature dishes. This event is much more than a lunch gathering – it’s a partnership project, bringing together not only the Lombardi’s and Chef Bob brands, but also other local partners, food influencers, and specialty brands. The premise behind the event is an interactive story, broken into three parts, showcasing Lombardi’s history. Guests will have the honor of hearing “the greatest fishing tale ever told” – a story few actually know, while experiencing a culinary explosion of flavor in each course. The grande finale is a signature Lombardi’s item that is guaranteed not to disappoint! Special surprises have been built into the event as well.
Only 40 seats are available, and over half are already sold. Tickets can be purchased at the register in Lombardi’s Seafood, or online (http://www.lombardis.com/events/). Pricing: an individual ticket is $75, or two for $125. Tickets include all food and beverages, samples, and a special takeaway gift.
